St. Stephen’s Lutheran Academy in Zelienople received $6,300 in grant funding for its Jaguars in Motion program from the 2024-2025 Highmark Foundation School Grants and Awards Program, the organization announced Thursday.

The school is one of 135 recipients of the grant program, which has awarded a total of $595,345 this year to schools across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The goal of Highmark Foundation’s grants program is to “create healthier school environments that experience positive, sustainable and lasting change through comprehensive strategies and awarded grants relating to physical health, school-based health, and social health programs.”
